Performed in 37 shows between 1931 and 1972 (mainly chorus but some minor principal parts). Served as Social Committee Chairman for 31 years organising dinner dances, whist drives, outings, New Year parties, Civic Receptions, refreshments at rehearsals and performances. He was told in 1972 that he was no longer up to standard to perform on stage and then helped with Front of House instead!
